About Dr. Heidelberg
Dr. Heidelberg was trained in New Orleans, LSU for medical school and attended Tulane for her Psychiatric Residency. She practiced the first 3 years out of training in New Orleans, Louisiana. After moving to Northern Virginia area she practiced for 24 years while having three sons and raising them. When the last one left for college nine years ago, she became a traveling psychiatrist (Locum Tenens) and has worked in hospital psychiatry from Maine to Florida, from Arizona to Virginia. Dr. Heidelberg has enjoyed seeing how psychiatry is practiced all over the country, and stays on top of all the new advances in psychiatry and medicine. She is one of Virginia's top doctors, having treated some of the most complicated hospitalized patients in the country.
Dr. Heidelberg has decided to travel less and is now able to see private patients for evaluations and ongoing medication appointments. As an out-of-network provider, she does not accept insurance directly, but will provide a receipt with the diagnosis and service codes so that patients can get reimbursement from their own insurance providers. Call our center for her current, reasonable fees.

Dr. Heidelberg Practice limited to adults and adolescents over age fourteen. She has expertise in the areas of Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety and PTSD, but is familiar with all the psychiatric diagnoses and treatments.
