Jill Cartwright, LPC

Therapist

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the mental health private practice industry since 1998 and licensed since 2000. I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families to help them achieve personal growth, balance, and wellness. I see children age 6 and older and have spent much of my experience working with adolescents and adults. This has also included running an open-ended adolescent girls psychotherapy group which focused on issues prominent in this population such as Depression, Self-Esteem Issues, Eating Disorders and peer pressure with substance abuse.

My approach to therapy is primarily cognitive-behavioral emphasizing solution-focused therapy. I include clients in the development of personalized treatment plans and will use a holistic approach, which means I may use different methods to help you meet your goals including reality therapy, family systems therapy, mindfulness coaching and homework. I consider the therapeutic relationship to be a joint partnership to achieve goals and enjoy tailoring this process for each individual client.
